What is the best time to exercise? Or put another way, is there a best time to exercise? The answer to the first question is depends, while the answer to the second questions is yes. It first must be stated that exercising at any time of the day is far superior to not exercising at all (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/03/health/03real.html?_r=1). But there are other factors that must be considered. Are you a morning, afternoon or evening person? Do you have an extremely busy day? How tired and drained are you after work? What are your training objectives: basis training, fitness training, peak performance training? Are you trying to lose weight? From our perspective, we think that the major question needing answer is “what is your training objective”? That is, are you training for peak performance or training to get in shape and lose weight?
